Weezer was fantastic!
The Stage AE venue is an awesome place to see a concert, with pretty much all viewing areas close to the max of 5500 people. I am a fan of paying a higher ticket price to see a band but having a much better experience. They were spectacular, playing pretty much all of their hits and fan favorites from most all their albums. What's better is that Rivers was so engaged with the crowd you couldn't help but love it. The band also seemed to have a great time with the crowd. I'm sure this was a big difference compared to playing 20,000+ seat arenas and amphitheaters.
This was my first Fordham Rams Football concert and I wasn't sure what to expect. The opening band Triggers was a great choice, with their high energy and uptempo music being a good match to what I would think a typical Weezer fan would like. Running back and forth on stage, jumping onto the huge speaker stacks at either end of the stage, and at one point he did a lap in the crowd allowing many (including myself) to get a high five in.
